We’re Augmentation Company, a human-AI interaction lab in San Francisco. We build technology to expand what people can do.

As machines become more capable, we want people to gain more agency: more ways to express an idea, explore a possibility, and act on what matters to them. We believe the way we interact with AI deserves as much care as the intelligence behind it.

We’re working toward a relationship with technology that feels personal, respects privacy, and grows around the person using it. One where human judgment and machine capability can work together, and the tools become a natural extension of our intentions.

Plato is our first step. It begins with a new way to speak with machines, using voice and simple gestures through a ring. It’s a starting point for exploring how that relationship can fit into everyday life.

We’re still early. There’s more to explore, and much to learn from the people who use what we build. We’ll share what comes next as it takes shape.
